Thursday is Running Club day!
The Academy students have been so excited about this event for weeks now. Some have even been training.
So last night at six o' clock the children on the ship headed to the dock for some fun. They start with some warm up games and then run (or walk) up and down the dock for a while.

Mercy Ships
I have been volunteering with Mercy Ships since January 2009. Mercy Ships operates the largest non-governmental hospital ship (M/V Africa Mercy) in the world and brings free medical care to the people of West Africa. The ship is currently docked in Lome, Togo and will remain there until August.

- I am a Grade One teacher - teaching the crew members children in the Academy. The Mercy Ships Academy is located on the Africa Mercy. There are about 50 students and 12 teachers from different countries.
